The Days of Our Lives: Belfast

Just a bit of what our ministry her in Belfast Northern Ireland has looked like over the past week and a half.
North Belfast is a community painted with images of pain, hatred, and religious segregation, which pretty much sums up the atmosphere, which is lonely and boring.

Prayer has been the main emphasis of our ministry thus far. Prayer walking, prayer coffee drinking and much more.

The local Pastor has been wonderful to us. He has a deep desire to bring unity to the battle amongst the Protestant and Catholics. We are helping him in his church planting movement. The ground work involves a lot of connecting with his young believers.

Drinking coffee or tea in a local cafe called " cafe devine" where the owner of the shop is a non believer, however he allows our christian worship, dancing and reading of scripture to take place. Oh that he would have an encounter with God. We minister to him daily in various ways. Pray that we would be the light. He said " I'm searching"
Another prayer point is, the church is meeting in a local school while a beautiful convent right across the street is preparing to close, pray for the pastor who has had meetings and presented a proposal to acquire the convent.

Praise God has sustained and protected the team thus far and has allowed us great unity as a team.

Thanks for the continued prayers and support.

Meg for the team.
